About Us
Darrell Renaud, founder of ScoutTech. has been an avid 4 seasons camper for
the past 19 years. He participates in a large variety of outdoor recreation
including backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, cycling, rock climbing,
mountaineering, snowshoeing, hunting, trail running and more. He has been
an active member of Scouts Canada for the past 15 years and currently
volunteers as a leader.
ScoutTech is 100% Canadian owned was founded in 2003 to introduce a line
of quality camping and outdoor adventure products for a reasonable price.
ScoutTech will soon be introducing a Free Online Outdoor Adventure Resource
Centre for all to use. Community involvement includes providing free
presentations and demonstrations to outdoors groups, and donations of
equipment to local charities. ScoutTech is planning to join several local
wilderness organizations this year to do its part in helping to preserve the
wilderness for many more generations to enjoy. |
