Returns and Warranty

Policy for Refunds & Exchanges

Updates as of October 2017

Our Returns Policy has been updated!  Customers now have up to 60 days to return their items after date of delivery.

NEW:  Free returns on Apparel & Footwear within 30 days. (Canadian Orders Only)

Items that can not be returned:

  • Food
  • Fuel
  • Bras & Underwear
  • Swimwear
  • Bear & Pepper spray
  • Insect Repellant
  • Sunscreen
  • First Aid Kits & Accessories ie. moleskin, clotting sponges, etc.
  • Climbing gear
  • Clearance Sale items (items marked down 30% or more)

Return Terms & Conditions:

  • Items most be postmarked or returned to our retail store within 60 days of delivery (purchase date for in-store).
  • Original shipping charges (where applicable) will not be refunded, only the items returned.
  • For exchanges, the customer is responsible for paying re-shipment costs of the new item (to be approved by the customer before proceeding)
  • For returns from outside of Canada, the post office must be used to avoid costly courier surcharges.

When considering requesting a return, please ask yourself this question:

 If I were in a retail store, would I buy this item as new?

The following are scenarios where returns are not accepted:

  • Items with tags removed or without all original packaging
  • Items with visible wear & footwear that has been worn outside.
  • Items that smell of smoke or other significant odor.
  • Items with stains, markings, scratches, dents, pet or human hair, or soiled in any other way
  • Footwear returned without the box
  • Items returned without all of the components

1)      Send us an email or give us a ring at 1-888-550-9958 or direct store line in Greater Toronto Area 905-828-9262 to get your return merchandise authorization number.

2)      We approve your return and get everything ready on our end for a prompt refund or exchange

3)      You drop off the package at your favourite courier (we love the post office as they always deliver within our store hours of operation)

4)      We receive the package and process your return/exchange as quickly as we can!  We strive to have this done within a business day or two after receiving the item & then refunds typically take 24-48 hours depending on your bank (we love PayPal because the funds transfer instantly!).
